Who We Are

We are a clinic that believes strongly in Integrative Medicine. With over 56 combined years of experience in healthcare, our clinicians firmly believe that traditional medicine does not necessarily produce better living. Although sometimes helpful and necessary, health cannot always be found in the form of a pill or surgery. We incorporate several non-surgical treatments into our practice because health issues are multi-faceted. Many wide-spread clinical diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, chronic pain, and obesity are inter-connected and can affect treatment outcomes. A healthy diet, vitamin supplementation, lifestyle choices and avoidance of toxins can make a huge difference in one’s health and recovery.

Dr. Farmer wants to ensure that his patients get the best Orthopaedic treatment possible with additional options for wellness solutions that produce better overall outcomes. We recognize that the current healthcare model is symptom and disease treatment, i.e. “disease care” or “disease suppression.” This produces living longer with more disease, medication, and side effects. Our goal is for our clients to live a longer life, in a more energetic state of wellness.  We are passionate about this approach! At Ignite Wellness Clinic, we truly care about sparking better living.

Sheila has completed training with the Ketamine Academy, IV Therapy Academy, and is Certified in the Biote Method of Hormone Optimization.

In addition to spending the last 2 decades providing anesthesia, Sheila is now using non-traditional approaches to reduce chronic pain and inflammation. Her approach to minimizing pain and the associated anxiety and depression is centered around excellent listening skills, multi-discipline collaboration and careful adjustments in treatment. “Most of the time, my patients show up having ‘tried everything’. Often, they don’t understand the effect that hormonal imbalances, nutrition, food sensitivities, toxins and inactivity can have on their pain and mood. I use ketamine as a powerful tool to reset the brain pathways that are not serving them well. Additionally, lifestyle changes, therapy, and involving other necessary disciplines of care will get the best response. Problems are always dynamic, and I understand that. My Philosophy is the greatest benefit with lowest risk, and we have some great tools in our belt here. My mission is simply to try my best to get people back to what they consider an enjoyable life.”
